About Us

Counselling Club

Counselling Club, established in 2022 and formerly known as School Safety Net (SSN), is a student-led group committed to supporting mental health and emotional well-being within our school community. We built this website to serve as a safe, welcoming space where students can open up, share their experiences, and explore ways to care for their mental health.

Our Vision

We envision a school community where mental health is openly talked about, compassion is the norm, and no one feels alone in what they’re going through.

We strive to create a supportive space where students can feel heard, valued, and empowered to care for their emotional well-being. Through open conversations, shared experiences, and helpful resources, we hope to break the stigma around mental health and build a culture of empathy, understanding, and connection.

Our Mission

Through Your Safe Place, we aim to provide a safe space for students in the school community. We want to offer support to those who are struggling with mental health and to help students understand their difficulties or just their overall feelings. We want students to feel safe and understood.

Your Safe Place ensures students know that they are not alone in their journey.
